An Inclusive Movement Community

Based in Seattle (& the Internet!), FreetoBFit is a body-affirming, safe space for all levels of movement. We are here to celebrate everything our bodies can do by encouraging community, deep listening, and the simple joy of how movement makes you feel—both in the moment and for the long term.

How We Can Work Together

We offer a range of training options designed to fit your life:

  • Personal Training: Private in-person or small group sessions.

  • Virtual Coaching: Train with me from anywhere in the world.

  • Specialty Classes: Burlesque coaching and mat-based mobility.

Why Work with a Coach?

Let’s be honest: sometimes the hardest part of movement is simply showing up—especially on the days when motivation feels out of reach or when the world sends a message that you don’t belong in that space.

Having a coach who understands that “low energy” isn’t “laziness” is the key to building a sustainable, long-term relationship with your body. I’m here to provide that gentle nudge and a safe space, giving you the structure and environment you need to prioritize yourself. And sometimes that includes giving you permission to slow down once you’re there.

Our goal is to ensure that movement always feels like a gift, not a chore.

TESTIMONIALS

  • "Kris curates spaces that make me feel safe and seen however my body shows up! I appreciate the deep knowledge she brings, and ability to push me, while also showing care for me as a whole person who is just trying to do what I can in this world. Highly recommend!! "

    — Kayden

  • "I've been working with Kris for 6 YEARS NOW!! Not only has she changed how I think about my body and my relationship to movement (it's not a punishment, go figure!), but she's also helped me challenge myself physically and mentally in ways I never thought possible. When I don't see her regularly, my body feels it and my mind suffers! I'm able to live mostly pain free and maintain mobility because of the work we do together. If you're looking for a new trainer, dance mom, or friend, Kris is the GOAT."

    — Heather

  • "Kris has created the best gym experience possible. In fact, it's not like the gym: it's like an awesome club of cool people who learn about how to make our bodies stronger and have fun together. Kris is one of the most fun and cool people I have ever met, and she is great at helping me meet my goals. I never thought I'd enjoy coming to the gym, but I do, because of Kris."

    — Brittny

  • "Kris makes the best functional fitness. Every time I have to do some awkward or near-treacherous thing with my body, like carry a heavy sleeping child back upstairs to bed at 3am, I 'thank you Kris' that my back and balance can handle it. "

    — Tom

  • "Kris - and the space she has created with FreetoBFit - has changed the way I view fitness. For the first time in my life I am learning correct form adapted to my body and needs. Kris knows when to challenge me and when to slow me down and adjust. I never thought I would be a person who goes to the gym, Kris has changed my life."

    — Sofia

  • "Working with Kris literally changed my life. Sure, I’m definitely stronger and more fit. But more importantly my relationship to movement is completely transformed. I feel more confident trying new things and entering new spaces. I also have a better understanding of what it means to take care of my body and more capable of managing natural setbacks like injury or illness. I can’t recommend working with Kris enough!"

    — Candace

  • "Kris has helped me shift my mindset regarding workouts. It's no longer about punishing my body for how it looks or what I ate, it's about celebrating my strength and finding joy in the movement."
