FreetoBFit is a safe space where all bodies are welcome and supported.
It can seem a bit daunting, right? Too disconnected maybe? Well, we promise, it's been working out pretty well for our virtual clients. Virtual sessions allow you to move in the comfort (& safety!) of your own space - with our watchful eye making sure you move in thoughtful, challenging and effective ways.
Virtual training sessions are a lot like current in-person training sessions - distanced and with lots of verbal cues (vs. hands-on adjustments). Workouts are customized for your body, your space (even your pets!) and using whatever equipment you have around the house. Some clients are stocked with a mini-gym and others have weighted backpacks & canned goods. We are creative and it's amazing to find out that you don't need all the fancy gym equipment to truly connect with your body!
How it works:
Private Sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes and are arranged directly with the desired trainer. Prices vary, depending on length and regularity of sessions, and sliding scale/scholarship options are always available. Reach out to either Kris or Lara for more information. Once you are ready to meet, we will send you a Zoom link with your appointment details. Make sure you have a space cleared for movement (you don't need much... we know how tiny some homes can be!) and your computer/camera set up so we can see your full body. First session is always a bit clumsy as we work out the details together.
Lara is also offering fitness counseling, a way to connect your body's workout to your frame of mind.
Fitness is about so much more than how you choose to move your body, but the other aspects of health don't always get addressed when we're working in a hour long workout format. Fitness counseling is how we bridge the gap between movement and mindset. Initial sessions are up to 60 minutes long, and are an opportunity for us to have a collaborative conversation about where you are in your journey, where you want to go, obstacles in the way, and how we get there together. Clients leave sessions with actionable steps for change.
